In this series, we follow 5 young immigrants who have recently arrived in Canada as they participate in a culinary experience under the supervision of chef Georges Laurier.

Very involved in his community, Georges Laurier often offers cooking coaching to members of immigrant community groups. These coaching sessions allow members from various cultural communities to familiarize themselves with basic knowledge of the cooking profession.

In this case, Georges innovate by taking the apprentices out of the kitchen to bring them to where food is grown. Thus, not only does this experience allow young immigrants to familiarize themselves with the profession of cook, but also to discover the Canadian culinary culture.

They say that food is the best way to learn about a culture, so cooking is a great gateway to discovering it!
