Nikan means “Moving Forward” in several native languages of Canada and is the name of a documentary series that focuses on young people from 20 to 35 years of age from aboriginal and Innuit communities of Québec. Each episode portrays a young person selected for his dynamism, involvement, values and view on the legacy passed on by his community. These daring young people have overcome difficulties to engage in a constructive project or have succeeded in their fields.
