Since the start of the pandemic crisis, the word “essential” has been constantly used in speeches: businesses, workers, essential goods and services are part of our common expressions. But ultimately, what is really “essential” to our existence? The upheavals of the past year have prompted us to rethink our way of life and to redefine habits, reflexes and concepts.

Some have left the city to settle in the countryside, others change the way they conceive of work and the space they occupy or redefine their relationship to family, education and culture. But do these new life choices necessarily lead to happiness? And do they allow you to really focus on what is really essential to us?
